The Westside Community Center depends on its volunteers to provide the programs it does for seniors and youth. The work of our volunteers is as good as cash donations because they provide assistance for which we would otherwise have to pay.

 

Volunteer Needs:

 

Community Advanced Study Hall (CASH) and Computer Lab

  • Maintenance help (upgrades, downloads, etc.)
  • Computer lab support
  • Help and supervision for students using lab
  • Youth and senior basic computer education instruction
  • Homework assistance for 1st-10th graders
  • Educational workshops in your hobby or area of expertise


Work Ethics Pro$per

  • Apprenticeship sites for student workers (June-August)
  • Provide employment-preparedness training for students ages 13-16

Senior Citizens Center

  • Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration Planning Committee
  • Games Night Committee
